I’m a native San Diegan who never found a good reason to leave. I grew up in Vista and graduated from California State University San Marcos with a degree in Literature & Writing.

I’ve worked in journalism and digital media for nearly 20 years, with experience in writing, editing, editorial management, social media and content strategy. I began my career as a letters editor for the North County Times and have since worked for newspapers, magazines and digital publications, covering everything from local news and San Diego culture to entertainment and pop culture.

In addition to writing and editing, I’ve led editorial teams, managed writers and freelancers, developed editorial strategies and style guides and overseen content from concept through publication. My digital experience includes SEO and search strategy, audience and performance analytics, social media, email marketing and digital content strategy.
